Bonnie's Grill by Erin Gleeson

Burger & Fries at Bonnie's Grill in Park Slope, Brooklyn.
Column: Culinography

  • I lived in The Slop for two years and never went! I still remember the red/green/black sign, always vowing to go whenever I walked by.

Sigh. How come things never turn out the way you plan?

I did, however, regularly frequent Blue Ribbon Sushi, just next door (almost), and Al Di La on special occasions.

As much bitching as I do about The Slop, I do have a soft spot in my heart for 5th Avenue!!!

  • I used to live in Park Slope, and Bonnie’s was a go to place whenever I craved for burger. Glad it’s still there, and I love their who knows how old chipotle mayo!!!

  • I love Bonnie’s Grill. If you ate that massive cheeseburger, I’d be doubly proud. First because it’s massive meat, and second because it’s not kosher!

If you’ve never had the hot wings however, I must say Bonnie’s Grill is up there with the best of them.

  • Funny, as much as I enjoy Blue Ribbon, I almost always pass it up for Bonnie’s. It’s just so inviting.
