EVENTS AROUND TOWN

It's that time of year again- NYC Restaurant Week! You know I love this. From Jan 18-30, weekdays only. The best ones are lunch only- which, at $25 is a better deal than dinner anyway. Sneak away from the office for 2 hours- don't miss this! (OpenTable.com)

NYC Slow Foods presents a night of "pre-industrial" Pig and farm vegetables from Morren Farm in Wisconsin. $95 per person for an 8 course meal and lots of speakers, all to fundraise for the NYC based "Harvest Time in School" project. (Astor Center; via Amy T.)
