This show-stopping cleaver comes from one of our favorite knife-makers in Japan, Suncraft. The beauty of this cleaver is its versatility – different parts of the blade can be used for different foods. The tip of the blade (1/3 of the blade that's furthest from the handle) can be used for steaks, filets and vegetables, while the rest of the blade (2/3 of the blade closest to the handle) can be used for chicken and bones.
The blade is constructed of 420J2 stainless steel which is known to demonstrate high impact resistance and is highly corrosion resistant. The handle has a 3-rivet full tang with a rosewood handle for substantial weight.
