"A Smoother Stir" is the theme of this barspoon, as it was designed to lessen the stress of stirring cocktails. By smoothing out the rough edges at the handle of the spoon, each rotation of the spoon creates less stress on the fingers and joints. This is especially helpful for bartenders who stir hundreds of cocktails a night. Keep it comfortable!

On the tail end is a handy strainer with a curved edge that hugs the lip of a glass.

And this barspoon is exclusively for lefties! This means that everything about this spoon is identical to the original version, but the twist of the handle goes in the opposite direction.

Kyle O'Brien, lefty bartender at Palmetto restaurant in Oakland, says that the barspoon is, "more fluid and natural and easy to maneuver."

Designed by acclaimed bartender Erik Lorincz, formerly of the American Bar at the Savoy Hotel in London, and fabricated with precise engineering and high-quality stainless steel in Japan, Birdy bar tools are at the top of the class.
