Sakura Daikiri Cocktail

Fusing together the sensations of spring in Japan with American sensibilities, Kayoko created the Sakura Daikiri – an homage to the Hemingway Daiquiri, this drink is made with Kokuto shochu, a spirit made with brown sugar from Amami Island (in southern Japan), and shaken with a Salt Preserved Sakura Cherry Blossom. This is hanami in a glass!
