Designed in the shape of a mayu, or cocoon, this teapot is inspired by the cocoon of a silkworm, known for its simple and delicate shape. The teapot itself includes a separate bamboo handle and built-in strainer for easy steeping and pouring. 

This elegant teapot with a clean silhouette is handmade in Nagasaki, Japan by Hakusan Porcelain. Hakusan began its production in the 1700s and is known throughout Japan for its elegant designs and high-quality make. 

Carefully remove the bamboo handle before washing. Handwash only.
