These traditional Japanese chopsticks are handcrafted in Fukui Prefecture, where they've been making Wakasa lacquerware for the last 400 years. Using bamboo from Kumamoto, artisans first cut and shape the wood, then apply layers of lacquer, polishing between each layer, resulting in a subtle glossy finish. Simple and elegant in design, these chopsticks are light, with a precise point. Use them during mealtimes, or for plating, garnishing, or styling delicate ingredients. Hand wash only.
