A blended malt whisky comprised of over 51% Ichiro's Malt and blended with Komagatake Malt. Both juices are aged for a minimum of five years, but this one is finished in the temperate climate around Chichibu Distillery in Saitama using a combination of ex-Bourbon, Sherry, and American Oak casks. Cherry, watermelon, stone fruit, and guava on the nose wrap themselves in warm, cinnamon-vanilla cake batter with a long lasting Dr. Pepper-like spice throughout.

Ichiro Akuto founded Chichibu distillery in 2008 and has become a leader in whisky-making world-wide. Located in the forests of Saitama (Kayoko’s birthplace!), Chichibu makes their whiskies in small batches using locally grown barley.
