Aged for 5 years in Bourbon, Chibidaru, and ex-red wine barrels, this whisky is released annually for the American market. This is bottled at 30 PPM (parts per million) of peat, which is light in comparison to typical peated Islay whisky.

Ichiro Akuto founded Chichibu distillery in 2008 and has become a leader in whisky-making world-wide. Located in the forests of Saitama (Kayoko’s birthplace!), Chichibu makes their whiskies in small batches using locally grown barley.
