From Chichibu Distillery's coveted Zodiac series, we present a rare whisky from the Year of the Boar, 2019. Casks hand-selected by Ichiro himself and then released at cask strength (63.5% ABV).

Produced using Braemar barley, 8x mizunara washbacks, and aged for six years in ex-bourbon barrels, this is one of 204 bottles! Get lush notes of stonefruit and honey, a hallmark for Chichibu whiskies, as well as dates and a hint of spice.

Ichiro Akuto founded Chichibu distillery in 2008 and has become a leader in whisky-making world-wide. Located in the forests of Saitama (Kayoko’s birthplace!), Chichibu makes their whiskies in small batches using locally grown barley and is the only distillery using mizunara washbacks.

This whisky will be available for tasting at our bar when we reopen.
