Once umeshu season has officially passed and we're waiting for our jars to finish steeping, we always get the hankering to try other available umeshus to see what's good!
This is an umeshu brewed with sake instead of a distilled spirit. It's made using local ume fruit and has a wonderful savory quality without an overwhelming sweetness. Fans of Beninanko Umeshu or Nanbu Bijin's "Ume Rose" will enjoy this brew. Great chilled, on the rocks, or in a cocktail.
