Intensely earthy and complex, with loads of umami. We got wakame (seaweed) and kokuto (black) sugar on the nose with a deeply funky palate reminiscent of agricole rum, yet incredibly smooth.
This gin has had us take a long, hard look at our preconceptions about flavored gins; the local gyokuro tea it's made with shines bright and adds weight. Drink straight up.
