Old Tom gins go way back to the 1700s when sugar was added to smooth out the harsh botanicals of regular gins. Here, kokuto (Okinawan black sugar) is added to create a smooth spirit with a delicate sweetness. Try in a Martinez cocktail or simply on the rocks.
