Our best-selling knife is the MAC Santoku Knife. MAC is known to make knives that are ergonomic with thin blades so cuts are effortless and fatigue is the thing of the past. But people with larger hands, or cooks used to heavier German knives asked us for a chef's knife with more weight.

Behold, the Damascus Series 8" Chef's Knife (DA BK-200)!

This workhorse features a 2.5mm thin blade for less wedging into cuts, bolsters on the handle for better balance and weight, and a form that echoes a traditional European shape (straight handle and pointed tip).

The blade itself is comprised of 64 layers of MAC's signature Molybdenum, stainless steel that is rust-resistant and extra hard to combat chips and warping. 

Did we mention the oversized handle that provides greater comfort for larger hands?

This 8" chef's knife is the most common size for everyday tasks such as apples, carrots, onions, chicken breast, fish, pork, and steak.
