Everyone can use a little sweet sophistication in their lives. This sake combines ceremonial-grade matcha with junmai sake and lemon juice. It's great on its own chilled or on the rocks – but our favorite way to drink Miwaku no Matcha is with milk and then shaken.
Maruishi Jozo brewery, located in Aichi Prefecture, has a long standing relationship with local tea makers Nishio Matcha. Nishio Matcha's green tea is also used in Japan for making Häagen-Dazs green tea ice cream. Nishio Matcha is known to make matcha that is full of umami, but low in bitter astringency.
