Distilled on the Osumi Peninsula in Kagoshima Prefecture, Satsuma Mura has been produced since the dawn of the Meji Era by a distillery focused only on using black koji. Crisp and full-bodied, yet delicately sweet and balanced with an assertive bite at the end. An excellent pick for those branching out from other types of shochu.
