Standing stoic and tall with a hand-wrapped crimson paper accent up top, this bottle reminds us of ojizo-sama statues found peppered throughout temple sites in Japan.
Aged for 3-8 years, Sennen no Nemuri has a creamy and supple texture (like marshmallows), and notes of vanilla, brown sugar, and caraway. Excellent oyuwari-style (with hot water) but the great thing about high-proof shochus is the ability to stretch them out with ice, water, or club soda. This is a great shochu for cocktails as well.
