Mars Tsunuki was founded as an expansion to Mars Shinshu Distillery. Tsunuki is closer to Mars' original Hombo Shuzo, which boasts access to pristine water. Tsunuki's climate also has more humidity and temperature fluctuations being at sea level, giving way to more opportunities to experiment with terroir in their distillation efforts.
