With it's name inspired by the Goddess Yametsu Hime, protector of the Yame region, this single malt is blended from whiskies matured in oak casks for 10-13 years. Notes of vanilla, citrus, apple, and ginger spice.

Kitaya Brewery and Distillery in Yame is located about 60 kilometers south of Fukuoka City, Kyushu. The Yame region is famous for shochu and shaded green tea.
