Troy Bayless and we go way back: in 2016, we threw a big birthday party (Kayoko's Cherry Blossom Cobbler Birthday Festival 3000) at Holy Mountain, where he was founder of the legendary bar in the Mission, SF. Now he's with the fine folks of Winebow as a Spirits Specialist, and we've been lucky enough to snag him for a night behind our bar for a belated unveiling of Fuji Whiskies: the World Blend and Single Grain.
While these whiskies are new to the U.S., Fuji Distillery is no stranger to the whisky scene in Japan. Sitting seven miles from the peak of the Iconic Heritage site of Mt. Fuji, the distillery of the same namesake was established in 1973 to bring the distilling techniques of America, Canada, and Scotland under one roof.
We're happy to team up with Troy, Winebow, and Fuji Distillery to bring you a night of education, tastings and cocktails of these two flagship whiskies. Join us!
