Sake and Shochu Gumi

Tosatsuru Sake Brewery has done something we've never seen before! They've filtered out the salt from the ocean water that laps up only the site of the brewery and used it for brewing sake. Rich in minerals, the water allows for a healthy fermentation that results in aromatics of apple and plenty of rice savory flavors. It ends dry and refreshing like a Niigata sake.

Named after the clear blue ocean water they use for brewing, Azure is packaged in a unique blue bottle that is worth saving to reuse as a vase.

Located on the edge of the ocean and the Yasuda River, Tosatsuru Sake Brewery is about an hour's drive from Kochi City.
