Sake and Shochu Gumi

A slightly floral, light, and refreshing summer sake. We enjoyed this sake with Thai Drunken Noodles (go figure) and think you'll also appreciate it as a nice quencher with spicy food.

As a daiginjo, this sake has brewer's alcohol added to it to round out the flavors. It's also a muroka, or sake that doesn't pass through charcoal filtration. The result is a drink with lots of ricey character but still maintains the signature fruity and light qualities of more refined sakes like ginjos and daiginjos. Get it while it lasts as it is released only once a year in the summer.

Note: We can ship this sake, but due to the nature of shipping, please note that fluctuations in temperature can affect the freshness of the drink, and we will always recommend picking up locally when possible. Please proceed with shipping at your own risk.
