The Cosmo series from Mars Hombo is a line of pure malt vatted whiskies using single malt from their Nagano distillery Komagatake, that is then blended with whisky from an undisclosed distillery in Scotland.

This expression is finished in Manzanilla wine cask giving it notes of orange blossom, golden raisin, vanilla ice cream, and warm toffee. Break out the smoking jacket and sip this one in your high back chair by the fire!

Mars Shinshu Distillery has the highest altitude of all the distilleries in Japan. Situated in Nagano (the Japanese Alps, where the newest season of Terrace House is filmed) at an elevation of over 2600 feet, the temperature drops to 5°F. With fresh, ample snowfall, Mars Shinshu Distillery is situated in an ideal place for whisky production.
