Oshu No Ryu Baseball Batter Junmai Daiginjo Sake (BTL 720ml)

Iwate Meijo Brewery is located in the city of Oshu, which has a rich heritage of baseball. This is proven by the fact that it is also the birthplace of one of the most famous players of all time: Shohei Otani. 

To celebrate the city's baseball culture, Iwate Meijo has released two sakes featuring a batter and pitcher on the label. Both sakes are junmai daiginjos with sweeter profiles that pair with ballgame fare such as hot dogs, burgers, wings, and pizza. 

The "Batter" sake is the sweeter of the two, made with Iwate-grown Kamenoo rice and using a special yeast called Giovanni's Melody. Enjoy notes of banana, and hint of citrus in the finish. Recommended chilled.
