Sake and Shochu Gumi

Perfect in size and proportion for your more upscale highball creations, the Slash Highball is more like a miniature Collins glass in shape; the walls of the glass go straight up and down, but the body of the glass is nice and wide so you can pile ample amounts of ice vertically in the glass. This will also make a mean water cup for entertaining if you have other cocktail glasses in your rotation already.

The slash pattern which twists up from the base of the glass consist of grooves which are nice and deep, tapering off to a sharp point at the end of each spine. Turn the glass counter-clockwise as you hold it to watch the slashes spin about. They remind us of palm fronds, or vegetation from Where the Wild Things Are.

Aderia was founded in 1819, originally known for making glass toys for children. Today they make a range of glass products from tableware to glass jars and bottles. Much of their glassware designs have remained unchanged since the 70's, bringing a retro feel from the alleyway snack bars of Tokyo straight to your table.
