Yukihira Stainless Nabe Pot 7-5/8"
We love these classic Yukihira pots – chefs in Japan use them for making their tare (sauces), and Kayoko uses hers religiously for making instant ramen, boiling vegetables, and steaming dumplings.
With a hammered design that helps with keeping incredible heat insulation, this stainless steel pot will boil water in minutes, and keep it boiling for a long while even after the heat is turned off. A spout on each side is convenient for pouring dashi and soups into serving bowls.
Care :
– Before first use, fill the pot with water and add about 1/2 cup of vegetable peelings. Boil over high heat for about 15 minutes. This will prevent your pot from discoloring.
– If the pot does become discolored inside after several uses, don’t worry, it’s still fine and safe for you.
– If you want to bring it back to its original finish, fill the pot with water and 1/2 lemon thinly sliced. Boil over for about 15 minutes. Then clean with sponge.
