Midorikawa Junmai Barrel Aged Cask Collection (BTL720ml)

We are excited when Kazuki Ohdaira, the head of Midorikawa Brewery visited us told us about this Cask Collection sakes. These sakes are aged in whisky barrels for one to two months. What’s more, the barrels are from Suntory's famed Yamazaki and Hakushu distilleries. These Cask Collection sakes have an unmistakable aroma of whisky, but upon sip, you know it’s sake. Adding the complexity of dried fruit, deep caramel flavors, the barrel-aging results in a heavenly sake and whisky hybrid that is oh-so luxurious! Ohdaira-san recommends this sake as a dessert pairing chilled in a wine glass, or as a highball.
