Sake and Shochu Gumi

Takamine as we know and love, but this one is finished for a year in hybrid casks made of American white oak and Sakura wood harvested from the Shinozaki family's own cherry trees. The nose is a bouquet of fruit, spice and flowers. Sassafras, peaches, cherries, sweet flowers, and cola. The palate is rich with notes of persimmon, stone fruit, brown sugar, cherry cola, and a long sakura flower (cherry blossom) floral finish. Complex and structured.
