Sake and Shochu Gumi

Hanadori is a shochu style that's not often seen outside of the distillery's local area, as it's bottled quite fresh and contains almost entirely the heads of the distillation run (about 1% of the total distillate). This is also known as hanatare style. It's rare! This shochu is an explosion of bright fruit and floral aromas. We get raspberry, lychee, and fruit-stripes gum. The ABV on this rare and shimmering shochu is a whopping 44%, so don't be shy with ice or soda. Or pour off a little nip in a spirit stem for a grappa-like digestif.
