On January 1, 2024, the Noto Peninsula was affected by a 7.6 magnitude earthquake. Among the damaged homes and businesses were sake breweries located on the peninsula in Ishikawa Prefecture. To help these brewers rebuild and restore, we're raising money for the whole month of March to contribute to the 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake Sake Brewery Support Project.

The project was initially launched days after the earthquake by Hands on Local Sake, and received donations from all over the world. Initial fundraising for the project has passed, but our contribution will be added onto the money that was already raised immediately following the earthquake.

We will be raising funds for the 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake Sake Brewery Support Project!

Here's more info from their website:

The main objective of the project is to support the owners of breweries damaged by the earthquake on the Noto Peninsula. We will accompany the restoration and reconstruction of the breweries in order to protect the local economy and culture affected by the earthquake.
