Komagatake Japanese Single Malt Whisky (BTL 700ml)

Over a decade of experimentation, toil, and refinement have lead to this fantastic flagship single malt from Mars Komagatake Distillery. This whisky spent three years in a variety of casks including sherry, ex-bourbon, port, and red wine casks from Mars' own winery in Yamanashi. The nose is rich and fruity with notes of baked apple, pears, persimmon, orange peel, maraschino cherries, and banana cream pie, with the palate reflecting many of those fruity notes as well. Wonderfully complex and structured!
