Kabamaru is a gray and black striped cat, and the leader of the pack. In this celebratory scene, he's dressed up as the emperor on his wedding day – a playful take on Hinamatsuri (Girl's Day).
The Japanese text reads: Nigiyakani, 5-ninn bayashi no, fue taiko, kyouwa Tanoshii Hinamatsuri
This translates to: A lively five-people flute and drum, today is a fun girl's festival
