This kit is your one stop shop for making umeshu! We've secured fresh, organically cultivated Nanko ume from Winters. Picked at their peak for umeshu and umeboshi-making, these ume are blush green to yellow in color. 

Use this kit to infuse these local ume along with rock sugar and shochu to make a sweet, tart, and vibrantly local umeshu! Jar is included (different from the one pictured here).

  • 2 lbs fresh, spray-free Nanko ume from Winters, CA
  • 1 - Takara Shochu (1.75L, Chiba, 24% ALC/VOL)
  • 1 - Wide Mouth Canning Jar (1 gallon, USA)
  • 1 - Rock Sugar (2.2lb/1kg, Japan)
