Sake and Shochu Gumi

By popular demand, we have added a new way to make dashi to our ever-rotating menu of Japanese pantry essentials - the dashi pack! This one's a total umami bomb with extremely simple ingredients (as all good dashi should be) - dried fish, kelp, and shiitake. Simply add it to hot water to make the ultimate soup base, or enjoy it as-is for a simple and hearty broth. These little packets would be the perfect method of making dashi for Japanese dishes requiring large amounts of broth, like miso, udon, ramen, soba, and more! 

Instructions For Use: Add one Dashi pack to 400 - 500 ml (approximately 2 cups) of boiling water, reduce to medium heat and allow to steep for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove dashi pack before using broth.

Store at room temperature away from direct sunlight. Store in the refrigerator after opening.
