This is Pekut and Carwick's independently-bottled rum from Guyana. Also known as Demerara rum, it's named for the river right outside of Guyana's capital of Georgetown. The use of wooden coffey stills give this category of rum its rich, world-renowned earthy and smokey flavors. With Bulk Rum, we get notes of caramel, orange rind, walnut, and vanilla with notes of tobacco and spice on a dry finish. Try this one on-the-rocks, in a Rum Old-Fashioned, or your favorite Daiquiri.
