Jake Myrick and Noriko Kamei started Sequoia Sake in San Francisco in 2015, and they specialize in namas (unpasteurized sakes). Lucky for us, these namas get delivered fresh as they get hand-delivered from right across the Bay. Sequoia Genshu is lively, fruity, and bold; we enjoy creating cocktails with this immensely but it is fantastic on the rocks too! 

This limited release uses the traditional yamahai method with relies on naturally occurring lactic acid. It is also made with organic rice, which results in a rich sake, full of umami and earthy acidity. Jake and Noriko's daughter Olivia collaborated with the husband-and-wife team on this unique sake. They recommend pairing this sake with mushrooms, and aged cheeses.
