Traditionally displayed in a tokkuri (sake flasks) for good luck in the new year, this aromatic charm is made out of paper thin shavings of yoshinosugi (fragrant cedar harvested in Nara). A modern way to use this charm is to soak in a bowl of water and enjoy its aroma.
