Aged in sherry and Bourbon barrels, Yoichi Single Malt is a bright expression of its terroir, with notes of pine, cherry, guava, salt and cooked meat. The distillery is located along the coast, creating the whisky’s signature briny-ness.

Nikka was founded in the town of Yoichi, Hokkaido in 1934 after Masataka Taketsuru spent time in Scotland to learn the art of making whisky.
