Welcome to the world of Junmai sake! If you've never had Junmais before, you're in the right place. We've hand-selected two bottles that we love here at Umami Mart that are representative of the style. 

Junmai translates to "pure rice" and includes sakes that are made of just four ingredients: rice, water, yeast and koji. There is no seimaibuai (rice polishing) requirement on junmais, and are known to be rich and earthy, making them versatile when pairing with hearty foods like grilled meats and hot pot.
