Sake Quiz: Find Your Sake Match

“Rihaku” is named after the Chinese poet Li Po, who lived from 701-762 and was known to drink sake before writing poetry. Like his poems, this sake is lyrical and distinctive as a nigori. The texture is viscous but not syrupy with rice and plum accents - plus the fact that it is unpasteurized gives it a fresh kick. Don’t be shy when pairing with spicy foods; drink chilled with curry, spicy barbeque, and pad thai – all stellar companions. SG travel tip: If you are ever in Chengdu, I recommend visiting Li Po’s serene garden!
