Whiskies this old usually come at 3x the price! Fermented from polished barley and white koji using yeast from Fukuoka Prefecture. Double distilled in a stainless pot still and aged for 17 years at Shinozaki distillery's aging facility. Among the oldest distillates ever produced by this Shinozaki. 

We get notes of banana, vanilla, loquat, coconut and brown sugar on the nose. The palate is reminiscent of cola, persimmon, brandied cherries, molasses and strawberry. Takamine continues to amaze with its bold flavors and structured nuance. Don't sleep on this one!
