A proud release of the Double Distilleries series marrying single malt whisky from the Kanosuke distillery with pot still whisky from Hioki distillery. Aged in ex-bourbon, ex-shochu, New American Oak, and sherry casks for at least 5 years. Then they are blended with ex-rum cask whisky for added dimension.
On the nose we get notes of passionfruit, plantain, fresh cut wood, cola, caramel, vanilla, and pancakes. The palate is passionfruit, cherries, bunt sugar, mango, chocolate, and toasted wood.
