Master Ukiyo-e print artist Kunioyoshi Utagawa had a well-known love for cats. Many of his prints celebrate his feline friends, representing them as playful, cunning, and wise. In this Edo Fashion Cat tenugui, cats are depicted in traditional outfits of Edo-era Japan, while balancing a white ball.
This quick-drying towel is woven in Kyoto and printed, color-by-color, for an off-set look. Hang it on your wall for decoration or use in your kitchen and to dry dishes and hands.
