Komasa Jyozo, a favorite shochu distiller of ours in Kagoshima, makes this delightful little gin by redistilling one of their rice shochus and blends it with a selection of individually distilled botanicals, including komikan (baby-tiny mandarin oranges).

These Sakurajima Komikan are baby-tiny mandarin oranges that grows on Sakurajima, Kagoshima's very active volcano. 

Enjoy this immensely fun and citrusey gin with club soda and a splash of tonic for a refreshing creamsicle-like beverage.
