Fukumitsuya Shuzo in Kanazawa releases 5, 10, 20, and 50 year aged sakes as a to nod to their 400 year-old history. Currently brewing only junmais, Fukumitsuya makes complex, umami forward sakes that lean savory. This extremely limited 10 Year Aged Momotose Junmai is a golden sake that is a blend of sakes, with the youngest being 10 years old. Perfect as a sipper after dinner on its own or with a bit of cake or yokan, this sweeter sake exhibits complex notes of sherry, dried fruit, and honey. This sake is best enjoyed at room temperature to highlight its long finish.
