Sake and Shochu Gumi

Nabeshima has enjoyed cult status thanks to master brewer Naoki Iimori's commitment to make sakes that would be loved by its local people of Kashima City in Saga. Apparently it's not only the local people that ended up loving it!

He uses a low-and-slow method of fermentation resulting in sakes that fresh and alive. Case in point is this sake, which has aromas of a spring day after rain and a hint of melon soda. We get a little fizz after notes of minerals, all ending in a satisfying bitter tonic tail. This is a must try at a great price.
