Nankai Acou Rum (BTL 720ml)

Nankai Acou Rum (White) is named after the Acou Tree of Miyagahama, the tallest ficus in Japan. The Acou has weathered the strongest storms and is revered as a goddess for its calm strength of spirit. They don't use standard molasses, but instead use "high test" molasses made from unrefined kokuto sugar. Notes of minerals, kokuto sugar, grassy sugar cane and papaya.

Locally-harvested kokuto sugar, Ibusuki spring water, and 150 years of shochu distillation serve as the deep roots for this uniquely Japanese craft kokuto sugar rum.
