Sake and Shochu Gumi

Round, slick, of full of juicy malic acidity, this sake has notes of muscat grape, honeydew, pink lady apples, and a refreshing finish like fresh cream with a touch of earthiness and yellow cake.

This sake uses rice milled down to 65%, so definitely doesn't fit the bill of a "full-flavored junmai," but instead offers a bright and juicy quasi-nama (unpasteurized) experience. We also love the golden color of this sake. Try this with smokey flavors like mole or raspberry-chipotle pork ribs.

From the back label: "Only those who run after two hares will catch both."
