To celebrate a decade of Sakqueso, we are throwing a sake and cheese party featuring 10 pairings! From classic pairings – like a junmai ginjo with Humboldt Fog, to daring experiments of aged sake with brie and iburigakko – indulge in a ten-fold umami experience: Sakqueso X!

Join us on our back patio for an afternoon of sake, cheese, and lively conversation. Visit booths lined with sakes and their respective cheese pairings. Sip on sakes and savor cheese while making notes on the Sakqueso leaflet to remember all the pairings!

What is Sakqueso? Combining the words sake and queso (cheese in Spanish), Sakqueso is a theme we've featured for the past 10 years in our sake club, Sake Gumi. Every Sakqueso, we introduce four sakes with their cheese pairings. Since its inception, we've consulted with Kevin Corcoran, an American Cheese Society CCP (Certified Cheese Professional). His expertise around the history and current events of cheese have made this past decade possible.
