Scarlet Peach Japanese Amaro (BTL 700ml)

A seasonal amaro made using local peaches, hand-harvested by founder Tatsuya Motonaga and 100 community volunteers from YJ Peach Farm, 100 km west of Tokyo. The peach juice is used to proof down the amaro to 19% ABV, giving it rich, vibrant, juicy peach flavors. The nose has white peach and a slight hint of acidity on an herbal backbone. The palate is much less sweet with lots of bergamot, orange peel, and a light bright peach note throughout.

Made with over 27 botanicals featuring peach, bergamot peel, orange peel, raspberry leaf, rooibos, black cumin, passionflower, palo santo, coriander, lemongrass, lemon basil, sage, marjoram, and Wakoucha (Japanese black tea). Hakuho, Natsukko, and Akatsuki peaches are hand harvested from YJ Peach Farm in Yamanashi Prefecture. Botanicals are macerated in neutral sugarcane spirit. Aromatized spirit is combined with freshly pressed peach juice. Sweetened using honey, Japanese beet sugar, and refined cane sugar
